  1. Great amount of detail here, as always. I love that you get into the specifics of weighing considerations for use cases, content creators, and audiences. Your last point, about having "a test data instance of the system to try out the implementation of the taxonomy," is one that has been on my mind lately. In an ideal world, I suspect that our content and taxonomy structure could (perhaps even should) influence our choice of CMS. To this end, I have been experimenting with ways to prototype content and metadata structures, independent of a production CMS.
