Carlisle Recreation offers summer swim lessons through the generosity of private home owners who donate the use of their pools. Offering summer employment to responsible and qualified teens and college students who are trained as counselors and instructors are an important part of the summer program.
Summer Fun Program - Students entering grades K-3
Lacrosse Camp (ages 4-6, grades 1-9): June 26

Summer Fun Program - Students entering grades K-3July 5 - August, 11, 2006, Monday thru Friday All programs are 2-week sessions.
Locations: Carlisle School - Corey & Wilkins Buildings,
Private Pools, Spalding Field, Town Tennis Courts, Carlisle
Kid's House Children using the Extended Day Program (3:00-6:15 pm) will be bused to Carlisle Kid's House at 3:00 pm. Parents will pick up at Carlisle Kid's House at142 East St., by 6:15 pm REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED ON A FIRST COME BASIS Summer Program - Students entering grades 4 - 7July 5 - August 11, 2006, Monday thru Friday Session A: July 5 - 15 All programs are 2-week sessions. Children using the Extended Day Program (3:00-6:15 pm) will be bused to Carlisle Kid's House at 3:00 pm. Parents will pick up at Carlisle Kid's House at142 East St., by 6:15 pm.

Theatre/Dance (2 weeks) - $350 Extended Day option (3:00 - 6:15 pm ) - $190 Activity DescriptionsArchery: TePee Archery, Acton - Learn basic archery skills, how to make arrows & tune bows in a safe, indoor setting. Bowling: Brunswick Bowling, Lowell - Includes bowling, shoes, pizza & drink Cooking: Learn safe and simple cooking and how to make fun & healthy snacks in the kitchen (Maple Street home) Golf: Barrie Bruce Golf School at the Billerica Country Club - Learn etiquette, position & swing with woods & irons, (pitch, chip & putt). Equipment provided. All levels. Horse Riding: Flying Change Stables Chelmsford - Learn habits of safety and grooming, along with riding lessons. All levels. Karate: School Exercise Room with instructors from Callahan's Karate School - Learn basic techniques and etiquette in a safe environment. All levels. Kayak/Canoe: South Bridge Boat House, Concord - Learn strokes, techniques & safety. *Must be Red Cross Level 4+ Swimmer* Mini Golf, etc.: Kimball's, Westford - two activities/day (Bumper Boats, Mini-Golf, Driving Range, Pitch & Putt), choice of ice cream or soda. Multi-Sport Games & Swim:
Play a variety of games including: field hockey, dodge ball,
baseball, frisbee, street hockey, flag football, etc. Play and gain knowledge
about various Pet Care: Learn to be responsible when taking care of pets, feeding, grooming and playing in a safe environment. Field trip included. Pottery: Make hand-built pottery using white clay. Glazing and firing included. Opportunity to use a pottery wheel. (South Street studio) Jewelry Making: Make a variety of items, including necklaces, pins, bracelets, earring, key chains, etc. Swim: Learn swim & safety skills at appropriate level. Tennis: Improve your game with drills, games and match play. Time to Clay: Time To Clay, Chelmsford - Work with a variety of materials, clay, mosaics, tiles, painting, etc. Theatre/Dance: FUN, FUN, FUN!!! Designed for the “performer”. Class teaches stage presence, self confidence and stylistic moves. Group vocals and skits will play a role in this musical. All welcome. Come join us. Wall Climbing: Learn basic techniques, proper use of ropes, equipment, locking carabineers and belaying. Summer Programs - Students entering grades 7-10Counselor in Training Program Water Safety Aid Training Workreation Red Cross Swim Lessons: Swim-onlyFor Non-Summer Camp Participants (Swim lessons for grades K-3 are included in the Summer Fun Day Program. Grades 4-7 swim lessons may be a chosen activity.) Monday thru Friday 10 x 45 minute lessons Parent & Child: $125 PLEASE NOTE: SWIM-ONLY Participants: you will be notified of pool time and location, the week before lessons begin.
