In 1998 a plan for recreation fields on the Banta Davis property passed Town meeting, and a debt exclusion passed at the polls to build Phase 1 of the plan including a softball field, little league field, soccer field, irrigation system and parking.

Banta Davis Phase 2 is the next phase of the plan that passed in 1998.

What does the Banta Davis Phase 2 project include?

• 2 new little league fields
• 1 new multi-purpose field
• 4 new tennis courts
• 2 basketball courts (conversion of old tennis courts)
• Cross country running course & ADA compliant walking paths
• An area for a future tot lot
• Additional parking

The Carlisle Finance Committee and the Long Term Capital Requirements Committee both voted on April 26 to support the Recreation Commission in doing the Phase 2 project for $1,466,300 million and also including an additional $526,000 for artificial field turf to bring the total project cost up to $1,992,300.
